2. It's an old one - back from the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert
He starts with "Thank You" and segues into "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"

6. I wonder if Queen will ever find a lead singer...again
Edited on Fri Jun-09-06 10:09 AM by scoey1953
Hard to Replace Freddy Mercury, but I hope they find someone and continue
doing music...They were always my all time favorite band. I had their very
first LP..when they first came out..all the way up to nearly the last.
Brian May, in my mind, one of the Best lead guitarists in the world.

7. Was that post sarcastic?
They've been touring with Paul Rodgers as lead and personally I don't like it at all. I mean, this video was neat-o with Plant and taken the context of the concert who could complain (It was a tribute to Freddie Mercury so everyone famous took a turn singing).

HOewver, I was disappointed that May & Taylor went outside of the band to find a lead singer knowing that both of them have done plenty of vocal work (and not just backup but actual lead singer) in all of the Queen albums. I think it would have been neat to bring Taylor out from behind the drums and let him do the singing. I always thought his voice was way better than Mercury's

8. Wasn't familiar with Paul Rodgers..
Agree with what you said though. I have lost track of Queen since Mercury died. Some thought
that was it for the band, but with their talent, people should think they would be around
for a while. Just wondering, though who was the one who wrote their music? Pure Genius.

11. The other three have been married and have grandkids
Although being married to a woman doesn't necessarily equal being straight.

As far as I know Freddie was the only one!
