iPod, Air America, audio books and me

Air America Radio cost me over $300 today - I bought an iPod to download podcasts, which I understand will allow me to listen to Air America on my way home from work. I'm also planning to get audio books.

Now - can someone point me to really, truly, idiot-simple directions for using the thing? I have never had one, hardly ever seen one, but I'm dying for Air America so I had to get one.

I'm hoping some of the younger folks around here who know what they are doing can help me get started. It's coming by UPS today, and I'm at a loss.

But I doubt it's that much different from the manual that came with the thing. They're really not that hard to use. Basically you use your finger to scroll around that ring that's in the middle of it and then hit the center button when you want to make a selection.

I know the manual may seem a little large and intimidating, but I found it to be relatively easy to get through. Just give it a try. I bet you'll be up and running in no time.
