Nobody GIVES A CRAP about the World Cup!


Compared to the World Series (hello!) or the Super Bowl, it's like a flash in the pan.

I think even Nascar pulls better ratings.

Since at least I do care more about the World Cup than the World Series (baseball SUCKS!). I do love the Superbowl just as much as the World Cup. But at least I give a crap about the World Cup. :-)

Baseball is the dullest sport ever!!
NFL is good to watch but it pales in comparison to the CFL (the REAL football league)

the WC is the greatest sporting event in the world. The "World" Series does not include other countries (maybe Canada???). But the Superbowl and the World Series could NEVER come close.
I've only watched the Superbowl once in my life when the Baltimore Ravens won it, am sorry but the NFL and Baseball suck.

Some people try to call it "football" to make it sound tougher, but it really doesn't fool anybody. It is all about the orange slices.

In real football, the only pads they wear is shin guards and then it's full throttle for the next 90 minutes. Non stop. Except for the game I saw this morning where Paraguay was full of whiny babies, they are tough men! They talk shit about each other, and the guy on the receiving end doesn't sue or whine, like the whiny babies in the NFL. Dude's like Bring It.

Today at my son's baseball game one of the other mothers was trying to recruit for fall American football. She said they're having a very hard time filling the team because "soccer is taking over the world." Beaucoup kids play soccer, but fewer and fewer play football. It's hard for them to find available fields, as well, because they're booked for soccer.

Me, I'd never let my son play football (even though he's a big kid) 1. because I can't stand that stupid "sport" and 2. it's way too dangerous.

Not that I like soccer/futbol, either, mind you :boring: (Sorry, world!)
