Hey, network geeks...gotta question.....

We have three computers on our network. Two of the machines are running XP and the third is running 98. When it's just my machine and the 98 machine, everything works fine. But when my boyfriend comes visits and he turns on his XP machine, we are subject to random disconnects from the WAN, every ten minutes or so. We have restarted the modem, the router,and repaired the network connection on both XP machines. We have released and renewed the IP adapter on the 98 machine. Any ideas?
