I kind of feel bad for him; he was a cute kid and a handsome guy in his late teens/early '20s. Looking back, even by Thriller, he had had some work done - his eyebrows were thinner, his nose noticeably smaller and obviously quite a lot of work was done on his hair which seemed to give him less typically "black" hair. By the time Bad came out he looked radically different and it's just gotten a lot worse since then.

I have to ask some people on the board who were around in the '80s (I was quite young) - did Michael Jackson have coherent interviews and appear sane in the late 70s and 80s? Any speculation about mental illness?
