It's just not film, but in marble, painted, drawn, the female form is somehow transcendent. Somehow it feels wrong, vaguely sexist, to assert that, but I agree. It's remarkable in a biological sense, because usually the display function in most species is assocatied with maleness.

I had an art class where our final project was to do a lifesize self-portrait and present it to the class with how you presented yourself. Mine used a few different mediums, but I did do a topless realistic drawing for the waist up. A couple of my friends took the same approach. We were actually all in various states of undress staring into mirrors and drawing ourselves in the lounge. We were all theatre people though, so it's okay.

25. I actually once slept through a game of naked tag in the Equity house.

I was disappointed when I found out about it. They were really hot actresses. Not all theatre people get naked for no reason though. I worked with one actress that would not allow anyone in the dressing room if she wasn't totally clothed (down to the shoes). Oddly enough, I did all her quick changes, so I stripped her down to her underwear, threw a new costume on her and pushed her back on stage six times a night. That's irony.

But I looked it up on imdb.com and it looks interesting. Seriously, working in theatre is a great source of stories and lines. Once you can pretend to take someone seriously while they're telling you, "All I demand is ABSOLUTE LOYALTY!" you know you've adjusted to the theatre life. Of course, it's the backstage people that can handle this shit. Actors tend to be much more sensitive, but the good actors realize how important we are and treat us like the "gods" we are.

And played the roll of a nude model is a play one time (local, but written and directed by a nationally known playwrite). So lots of people saw me naked back in the day. I was usually very comfortable with being naked. I often forgot I wasn't wearing clothes.

"Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" Best drawing course there is. Heavy emphasis on fast gesture drawing. When I was doing my first art degree we had two three hour drawing classes a week starting at 8:00 AM. If you missed a class you were dropped and you couldn't move on to third year.

Same with Cezanne who at the age of 60 got up at six and spent six hours working in his studio and the afternoon in the Louvre studying. I made my 8:00 drawing class on Tuesdays after getting home from a job as a bouncer at 4:00 AM. My three hour drawing class was a waker upper. I felt like a million bucks after that class. In three hours we would do 30 gestures and three half hour finished drawings. By finished I mean you couldn't do any additional work to the drawing because the instructer could see where you had made additional improvements after class. If was great training. I loved those classes.

Ten years later I ran into a friend of his who told me that he had seen my photos and masturbated to them. I considered a lawsuit since I still had copies of the signed contracts, but I finally decided to just let it go. I have had wonderful intimate moments with the love of my life. Not at my school, and 30 years ago. it paid relatively well, but I ended up quitting because I couldn't stay warm in these underheated art rooms. I started catching colds. I also discovered I was a bit more inhibited than I thought. One thing to be nude, another to be stared at nude by groups of people with clothes on. Nudity, in general, is no big deal. A residual from the '60s.

1 The photographer may want me to pay for all the lenses that would crack as soon as I took my clothes off. 2 I don't know if there are lenses that could zoom in on such a small target!
