Guess who just scored tickets to the Dixie Chicks concert in Knoxville, TN
ME! It's sometime this fall and I'm uber exited. It's my second real concert (first was R.E.M. in Atlanta in 2004 where I got to go backstage and meet Mike Mills!!...but thats a whole other story) and I'm in like row 28 on the floor! I love floor seats x a million.

I am going to see them in Austin in October! On the floor, too!

Never seen em, have all their albums, which I listened to religiously while living in England, even before the comments!

You're so lucky!! I was supposed to go to Houston but that one is delayed or cancelled. I may try to get to Dallas.

5. Lets get you a big list of sigs to get you backstage
and meet them! I would gladly sign some note of appreciation and if you had enough sigs
would not that be as good as a back stage pass?

I would love to go backstage! Though the R.E.M. afterparty was kinda boring until I saw Mike Mills and started to talk to him.

Just wondering, but what do you mean by signatures? Like "Al Gore says Bronwyn should go backstage and meet the Dixie Chicks".

I wore this shirt that said "question authority" with the W with a "no" sign through it on the back to the R.E.M. concert and that same shirt got Mike Mills's attention backstage!

I'll try and DIY another anti-W shirt and wear it.

I just checked and they're in Pgh July 22nd. The cheapest tickets were $130 and I really wish I could afford to spend that. I guess I'll just have to play the CD and let my imagination carry me away.

$1000? I don't know how much my tickets were but I sure hope they weren't that expensive, cos I'd feel really bad for my mom having to pay for them.

Maybe things in Boston are just more expensive, but I don't know...

it was $100 just for the nose bleed seats here in Boston.

So, when you go back stage with your thank you list from DU, please include my name. I would love to see them but it's too rich for my blood these days. Thanks!

14. I got mine for the L.A. concert and can't wait. Saw their last tour
and they were fabulous. I also got floor tickets, but am not usually happy with them - there's always some tall yahoo in front of me with a ten gallon hat on that blocks the entire stage. Hope not this time.
