2. The first day is awful.
But the families adopting them are so thrilled to get them, I just try to remember how happy the kittens will be.

This time, the hardest thing for me will be giving up their mom. She is the best, cutest, smartest, most lovable foster kitty I've ever had.

3. I'll bet it is hard. My daughter wanted to be a foster mom for kitties
But, we would have such a hard time giving them up. I can just see us with 30 cats and be eaten out of house and home!

There is just such an expression of "I am a rascal" on his face to make me want to kiss him all over!! Of course, I already have a red longhaired tabby with that same expression on his face, so perhaps I'd better rethink the situation! :rofl:

PS: I have 5 (cats) right now, so it's not a good thing to tempt me with kittenry!!

20. No, I'm in the DC area. Mary Ann is the only one who will let you pick
her up even when playing and cuddle a little. Her fur is silky soft. She's so pretty.

21. Ginger is the adventure cat. She loves to try everything and is often
found in completely different parts of the house than the other two. She's a wiggler until she gets worn down and wants to sleep. Then she has two preferred places: Sitting on your pant legs while you sit on the floor and the purring machine cranks up to 11, or sidling up to her big buddy (18 lbs) Otis, who's fine with having his own tiny pet--until she chases him up the stairs! Ginger will eat anything her mom eats but the other two like only dry food, though Gilligan likes boiled chicken and fish that you're eating.

Meanwhile Mom wants you to throw her mice so she can bring them back to you.

They're a handful!

10. I get heart palpitations everytime I see this crew!
Seriously, they are some of the cutest kittens I've ever seen. Those little white paws and little pink noses! :loveya: And they just seem so happy and content. *sigh* I'll bet they get snatched up.

You should make the adoptive families sign a contract that they will post kitty photo updates on DU every month! ;)

24. the handbag now has a fabulous new perforation pattern along the strap
and the inside flap has been fluffed up by hours of highly skilled kitten massage with claws. Maybe they should be designers!

I love the little orange ones, found a kitten like this almost 16 years ago, and he's still a big, spoiled part of my life. IMHO, kittens are the cutest baby animals. I'd adopt them all, if I could...:-)

29. Thanks, actually, what happens is I forget and leave the purse on
the floor and within a few minutes at least one of them is chewing on it. So this time when all three were there I grabbed the camera!

33. I miss having kittens around
Momma cat who's sleeping in my lap right now used to have two litters a year, I'd love to watch them play every litter at about six weeks discovered the couch they'de chase up one end, along the back, down to the floor over and over.
Every litter did this, it just came natural. We have five cats now no room for kittens, but, I miss them.
