3 year old missing
I was at our annual music fest tonight, and a little girl named mallory was missing. My 4 year old and six year old little girls were at the park(where the festival was being held) playing just maybe a half hour before they announced mallory was missing. They stopped the concert and everyone in our little town went looking for the girl. We looked all the way home, looked in our playhouse and fort, nothing. I still hear them calling for her out my windows as I lay here with my babies snoring beside me.Thank God! I hope the fire department finds her soon. She is in my prayers.

3. are mallory's parents still together?
not trying to be crass- but a lot of times, child "disappearances" have something to do with custody disputes. hopefully this is something as comparatively benign as that.

5. Unfortunately, this happens all of the time.
Parents, beware. Good for you and everybody for taking the time to look for the little angel.

8. That is positively terrifying.
A parent's absolute nightmare.

You know how you feel when you lose sight of them for a few seconds in public and you get that sick feeling ... Then multiply that by a thousand fold ... :scared:

I sure hope they find her.

9. I just called the milford police
I just can't sleep and was hoping to get a quick update, but no just an answering machine. I just finished reading The Lovely Bones before we went to the concert, and now I can't stop crying just thinking about what could be happening to this innocent little girl.

11. This happened to us once
At a big family gathering this also happened. They found the little one though, she had crawled into a pile of hay in a barn loft and fallen asleep. No one could figure out how she had climbed up the ladder.

13. I still don't know any more.
Still just a recording at the police office. I'm hoping hubby will hear something at church this morning.
