Personalized License Plates
I am about to purchase a new car and need a new license plate. Any suggestions? Want something creative and obvious that I am far left! Thanks.

13. Well, you know how the word AMBULANCE
is lettered backwards on the front of rescue vehicles so that they can be easily read in rear view windows.

It's sort of like that.

16. I thought the number letter combos were chosen by the DMV.

26. They Are Chosen
Unless you choose to personalize. In my state personal plates are very cheap so very common. Other states they are very expensive so you rarely see them.

I can go to the DMV site and pick what I want and submit it to see if it is available. Was thinking of doing HAD ENUF but it is already taken!

29. I've had one personalized plate and it was in Illinois
Monkee1...at that time in Illinois (this is the 1980s) if you included a number the price was different than if it was all letters. One was considered personalized and the other vanity. So, instead of Monkees, I chose Monkee1...it was CONSIDERABLY less expensive.

I want to get Yoda for my scooter plate and it's only $15 on top of the registration cost that I've already paid.

21. The best one I saw was a NY plate that said, "BLEH"
It totally matched the situation. We were stuck in line attempting to get into Canada for three hours and it was snowing.
