7. Female Trouble
I got trouble, female trouble.

"Nice girls don't wear cha-cha shoes!"

"Dawn Davenport is eating a meatball sandwhich right out in class."

"You can tell she's retarded, she has the face of an old woman."

9. It's a close tie between
Polyester and Serial Mom. Can't decide. The jury is still out.

10. I like his early stuff not many have seen like "mulitiple maniacs"
"mondo trasho" and "the diane linkletter story" (I just viewed all three a few months back for the first time)! For his more known movies I prefer Female Trouble and Pink Flamingos.

11. Very jealous -- where did you get hold of them from?
From what I gather, Multiple Maniacs will never get a completely uncut release over here because of our blasphemy laws!

cable show about the midnight movie phenomenon (covering Rocky Horror, Eraserhead, Reefer Madness, Night of the Living Dead..).

John said something like he'd been put on this earth to make bad taste fashionable/acceptable, and he'd accomplished that, so if he died tomorrow he would have accomplished his purpose.

The image of Divine, flouncing down the street to "The Girl Can't Help It" is indelibly imprinted on my mind.

13. "Polyester" for me.
Come on...you had the "Odorama" cards, the wonderful Edith Massey (I think it was her final Waters film), of course Divine....AND Tab Hunter. How can you go wrong with that cast and concept? :-)
