Those f*ckholes at Network Solutions conveniently forgot to

send me a reminder regarding my expiring domain name - and the way I found out was because my email's not working. The only good thing is that it happened on a weekend. It's supposed to be on autorenew, too. I tried to switch the domain name to another registrar, but the idiots won't let me into my account because of some inane security protocol I have to follow, which they pulled entirely out of their collective arse.

It just looks bad when a web consulting firm's website goes down due to not having renewed their domain name before the expiration date.

I *loathe* Network Solutions. :grr:

1. You are already on the right track..

... get your domain to another registrar. They suck.

I like powerpipe.com, and they've helped me get back expired domains (within a few weeks) that clients let go because the didn't heed the warning emails.

They charged me $2.00 extra :)
