Here being San Marcos, Texas (where LBJ went to college). When I walked to the post office this morning, I thought I was going to melt!

Stay cool! Even if you have to get nekkid to do it!

Last week was wonderful. This week has just started inching towards taking the piss. :hi:

Can't make sense of the BBC local weather forecast. They say low of 13 celcius tonight - it's sunset now and feels like about 25. What kind of acid are they taking? :D

15. 25 Celsius at sunset!
That IS warm for you!

Our summer daytime temperatures range between 27 and 37, with a significant amount of humidity. So we get really warm.

We also get really cold in the winter. Winter temperatures range between -25 and 0 on the Celsius scale.

16. If I may say so
your weather is simply ridiculous!

It's not so unusual around here, but the really warm weather is usually confined to a few weeks in July or August. And it does have a rude habit of remaining warm and humid at night. In fact it seemed to get warmer yesterday after the sun went down! Where the heat comes from is a mystery to me.

But for it to be this warm in June is certainly unusual. It's usually shit at this time, to be honest. I reckon it can go one of two ways this year. It's either going to be a fucking long scorching hot summer, like 2003 was, or it's going to last another week and then the summer will be a dreary grey washout.

Time will tell. :7

I missed you!

19. Our weather is downright stupid!

But soon, I will be moving to an area where the range in temperatures between summer and winter is far smaller.

Here: -20 to 37
There: 10 to 37

My arthritis will like it better.

24. Ha, I wonder if they jumped ship
to our network last week...

In the morning, high of 18 they said...turned out to be 28! :silly:

That's pretty darn hot for sundown! The humidity is the real killer, though. Ugh. Used to be like that in Toronto, too...you take a shower to rid yourself of the sweat, only to end up sweating again 5 minutes after it...

My solution was to take an ultra hot shower, so that when I stepped out it would feel cool (pretty damn hot if it was 35 outside). Forget sunburn, I used to get shower burn.

If it was up to me, not. But I'd keep my hands to myself (for some reason that statement seems wrong...)

But you would feel cooler.....

However if the only way you can get cool is strip..... go for it and post pix. (A naked sweaty billy - am I the only one drooling?)

33. It hovered around freezing the whole time
except for the last week. That is too cold for March. It had been like that November and December too.

I know it's silly complaining about the cold to a Canadian, in fact you already jumped on me about that before! :P

you don't like being jumped on?

Now, how are you going to impress the ladies?

;)

Actually, complaining about the cold to someone in BC is different than someone in Ontario, or someone on the Prairies, or in the NWT...the latter would laugh at me if I complained about a -25 day, that's their warm spell .

It's a little warm in my apartment though, because it's been closed up all day. Our weather is supposed to get kind of crappy until the last week or so of June, and then it should warm up again.
