When Is "Countdown" Recorded? In The Morning Or Evening?

I normally watch (record) the 8:00pm (ET) edition of the show... and sometimes I'll hear Olberman (or his substitute) greet the viewers by saying "GOOD MORNING!".

But then in a later interview, the guest will say "Good Evening, Keith!" or Olberman will say "Good afternoon and welcome to the program."

Is their studio located on the edge of the event-horizon for some time-space distortion where morning-afternoon-and-evening all blend together into a gray indistinguishable mass that nobody can discern?

That's one piece of the puzzle. Now... I need to figure out why he says "good morning" in the early evening. :shrug:

4. I think that usually happens if the person he's interviewing is

in a morning time zone at the time of the interview (i.e. Baghdad, London, etc.).

5. That Occurred To Me As Well...

... but it seems to happen regularly with no regard to whether the guest is in Europe or on the East Coast of the US.

Have you notice that there is NO NEWS TICKER during Olberman's show?? :bounce:
