Anyone here know how to smoke hash in a hookah?

Do you mix it with tobacco or ganja?

Or do you smoke it by itself?

Also - is there a way of smoking hash by itself, without mixing it?

hash straight in my day. Mixing it would be like chopping up filet and mixing it with pot roast. Why buy the good stuff and then dilute it with crap? It doesn't light, but it burns when you have a flame on it. So we stuck it in the pipe, held a lit match on it while inhaling the smoke. Don't know about a hookah, we were poor back then, a bong was all we could manage. Haven't heard much about hash these days, it seems to have disappeared. Not that I travel in those circles nowadays anyway. A very fine high.

I find smoking it with tobacco very harsh (even though I smoke cigs). Smoking it with ganja resulted in me becoming one with the couch. You could also mix it with an herb like catnip (which does mellow people a bit, if smoked) However, if you have a fine pipe screen, you can break it up and just smoke it.

4. I stick mine on the head of a safety pin or a bent paperclip

(Just a little ball, mind you).

Light it on fire like incense, let it burn for a second or two, blow it out and cover it with a rocks glass. Once the glass is filled with smoke (or the hash is extinguished), tilt/lift the glass and suck up the smoke with either your mouth or a straw.

Works like a charm and the process/preparation itself is kind of relaxing. This is my preferred method when sitting around reading and *ahem* relaxing.
