Poll question: Should I lop my hair off?
I've been letting it grow, and it's down below my collarbone now. But, I keep having to put it up because my hair is THICK and it's so warm. One the one hand, it gives me more excuses to use my Pac Man & Clyde (pokey) barrettes, but on the other hand it takes about 5 hours to dry and it's not even THAT long yet.

What say you?

1. You could dye it platinum blonde,
then the light color would deflect sunlight more readily, and in theory, keep you cooler.

Shut up. It's a great theory.

4. Short answer, "YES!"
Longer answer, "It's opposite day; apply that wisdom to 'short answer'."

9. Short hair is very much in style
so I say cut it. When it goes out of style, you can let it grow at that time.
Can you give me an idea of your age range? My concern: if you are over 40, be careful and don't let the stylist assume you want a mom cut. It will age you terribly. I define "mom cut" as any short hair cut that used to be in style, like the wedge. Make sure you get a current short hair.
Yes, I'm over 40 so getting stuck with a mom cut is very much on my mind.

16. This thread is BS
w/o a pic!

We ALL KNOW short hair is easier to manage. What are you REALLY asking? >I ASK< as there's been a spate of dreadlock chopping in these parts. I'm just wondering if there's something in the (h)air.

18. Other: Thin it
that way you can keep the length for your barretes.

I cut 12 inches off mine this spring & I love it. :)
