I have seen customers do all sorts of bizarre things in the search of that one perfect item. I once watched one decimate the entire bread section and climb into the refridgerator in search of a magical loaf of Ezekial bread. People who return items months before the expiration date because it was too close to expiring. Once a customer returned dog biscuits because they only had a month left. DOG BISCUITS!!!! I practically lived off expired food when I worked there because it was free. I never died and I'm neurotic about food.

Honestly, I'm shocked that I never experienced anybody "testing the eggs" like that guy in "Clerks."

Fortunately, our good customers were really cool. It made up for the rest of them.
