Look what I found.
Edited on Sat Jun-17-06 11:09 AM by Maestro
I recently helped my parents move out of the house in which they have lived for nearly 30 years. As a child I attended a ton of concerts. I had saved all of my ticket stubs but unfortunately all were lost over time or so I thought. I found just a few of the ticket stubs in a drawer in what used to be my room. Boy, it really brings back memories.

Post some of your old concerts as well.

Here is my first concert from 1982. Check out the line-up.

I am not even sure if that stadium is still there anymore since it was in NOLA.

Here are some others, but not anywhere near the amount of concerts to which I have been.

Very underrated band here. They were great in the day.

One of the many times I saw Rush.

Here is INXS before they really became a supergroup.

This concert by Judas Priest is still the loudest concert I ever attended.

And this one here was just wierd. It was Dead or Alive at the Starck Club in Dallas. They came on at about midnight and played for only about 45 minutes.

What concerts have you attended?

2. I just wish I could find all the others, but I think they are now
lost to the ages. :(

3. Neatness comes at a price, doesn't it?
Hey, at least you can *remember* that you went to concerts. :D

4. I love seeing those!
Mine are all Reunion Arena and Starplex mostly, but my Bronco Bowl ones are with Squeeze and Robert Palmer and my U2 one is at Tarrant County Convention Center...oh, hey, I still have Rush at Reunion ticket stub too!

Thanks for sharing a slice of Eighties-era music around the Metroplex. :)

5. I saw U2 in '84, but I wish I had seen INXS.
I LOVE "Shabooh Shoobah" -- classic, amazing album.

I have seen so many concerts I can't even remember them all. I've seen groups as varied as what you see in the first post to Bachman Turner Overdrive, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Robert Plant x2, The Firm, Depeche Mode x3, U2x4, INXS x2, Golden Earring, Rush x4, Paul McCartney, Motely Crue x3, Ozzy x3, Great White, Van Halen x4, Loverboy, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Billy Squier, Sammy Hagar (regret that now, damn repuke) but I regret even more seeing Ted Nugent at a Texas Jam one year. I better stop now. I have some old tour books. I could scan those. I find those as well, but not all of them.

7. I wish I still had my ticket stubs.
I kept them for a long time and then must have pitched them when I moved out for good.

A couple of my more memorable were YES and Grateful Dead.
