Pictures of Zoe, my happy and aged little parrot... (56k unfriendly)

Hanging by a thread? Nope, just my big thumb.

Upside down but not inside out

She wants it all the time

Insatiable

Oh yeah! What a little scratch slut...

Looking around, fearful as ever despite years' worth of knowing she won't come to harm.

And what would Mr Roper think?

9. Thank you...
I may be considered indigent by an indigent society, but there are lots of things in me people do not know about. And, like this one, I usually keep them locked up.

So, why did I open up? I had a good night last night. Even if the people involved were already taken. I found there is a glimer of hope despite it all.

2. What a cutie!

How old is she, and how old do they usually live?

Have you had her since she was a baby?

8. She...
Is 8 years old.

Senegal parrots live for around 20 years.

I bought her when she was 8 months old. She was tempermental, but has mellowed out considerably since then.

5. What is it about parrots that present their head for scritches/affection
I have an African Grey, and as she comes out, she presents the top of her head to be kissed repeatedly by me, before she will exit her cage.

She will sometimes add whistles, which I have to mimic to get the "treat" of her company.

I see yours has YOU wrapped around her talon also.

Thanks for posting the pictures!
