Apple has a specific Ipod for Videos..so you have to make sure you have that. Secondly, you have to set up an Itunes account. Once there you can purchase videos...and then down load them to your Ipod. I made a big mistake...in thinking I could download my own videos into my Ipod...but the Apple Ipod has some kind of code that blocks out videos..that are not theirs. Now I heard you can do it if you have a MacIntosh computer...But so far, Only Itunes videos will go on this Ipod.
Mine was 500 dollars, and I took it back. I have a bunch of videos none of which will play on that Ipod, so I took it back and am using my old Ipod now. I would much rather have photos and the songs I want, then have to deal with the Music THEY want me to listen to. Sucks big time, but thats the way they do stuff at Apple.
Should you chose to purchase their Videos...Its really simple to put the videos on your Ipod. Infact the Itunes will load it up for you, so long as you purchased it from them. Itunes does this also with songs you purchase. If you purchase a song, it will automatically load it up for you. Your Ipod should come with a disk. You put the disk into your computer..and follow the instructions for programing your Ipod. Next...Download Itunes if you have not already done so. Once you have both these components you should be able to purchase songs and or videos ..and the Itunes program will automatically up load them each time you plug in your Ipod jack to the computer. There should be a booklet too that shows you were you can plug your Ipod into the computer.
Most of the Music I listen to I can not get on Itunes. It really sucks that if I want to purchase my kind of music, I have to get a card in "Yen" to get my music. Oh well..some day maybe stuff will change.
