1. There is something deeply wrong
and disturbing about this indeed.

6. I remember a few years back ...when the Stanley cup
Went to Dallas...and hardly anyone showed up. They all had something better to do...
I was never so mad that a great team went unappreciated, even though my team
(The Canucks) had lost a chance to play in the Stanley Cup playoffs...but to see Texas shun the event because they either didn't care, didn't know about the game, or had better things to do
was a low day in Hockey History.. Hope You guys appreciate your team and Hockey History!!

9. Don't worry! There was a packed arena here. Fans stood the whole time
cheering on the Canes.

Outside big screen televisions were provided for the fans who didn't have tickets:

don't worry about that...
I seem to remember the RBC center frequently going up and beyond 110-120 decibels during the first few games.

It also helps that the Canes are only 1 of 2 professional leagues in this state (carolina Panthers)... and I couldnt care less about the NFL, Id much rather watch rugby.

14. I also wanted Edmonton.
Somehow, I'd feel less disappointed it they were still the Hartford Whalers.

Gary Betman should be tarred, feathered, and paraded out of town on a flatbed Ford.
