Poll question: Battle of the polished turds: Cadillac Cimarron vs. Chrysler/Maserati Tc
Which displays greater disparity between the nameplate and what you actually got?

1. Gotta vote for the rebranded Cavalier here...
The Cimmaron was an amazing piece of shit. Every well to do Portuguese family I knew as a kid had one.

2. I'd definitely rather have the tc, but on the other hand...
Maserati has a really good reputation, and I suspect that the tc is a more disappointing car compared to a maserati than a cimarron is compared to a caddy.

7. Yep.
I'd much rather have a rebranded LeBaron than a rebranded Cavalier. UP here in the Lake Effect Zone, the trunk lids rust out by the third winter.

3. OT, but I saw a BiTurbo in the self-serve wrecking yard.
Engine was there with the turbos. Some nimrod pulled off some bits, but that would have been a sweet mill for s T-bucket.

Had to leave it. No silly-fun projects these days.

4. Should be a tie
More should be expected from Maserati, so the disappointment is greater, but it deserves credit for perhaps the lamest tire innovation ever: Raised White Lettering.

5. I once owned a Cadillac Cimarron.

It was a good little car. But it was really just a Chevy Cavalier in disguise.
