4. Political rallies and protests.

Ones on college campuses are best. I've met a couple great girlfriends that way. Obviously it didn't work out with either one, but you at least you know you have something important in common. Its also an easy place to start a conversation with someone.

8. At my daughter's house.

He's four and will never turn down a trip to the Dairy Queen or Micky D's. But I wouldn't trade those dates for an evening at the Four Seasons with George Clooney.
