1. Trader Joes has the BEST caviar ever usually in February for a couple
of bucks.

It's as good as any fancy schmancy stuff they keep under lock and key.

2. Confession time! (See below)
I avoid caviar like the plague and have never purchased any of it myself.

I even send back sushi that has those little orange fishy balls mixed in with the rice.

Just not my thing.

You can have mine (and the little anchovies, too).

5. My cat's breath smells like cat food.
And I'd eat the things she pukes onto the carpet
before I'd buy caviar again.

It was $1000 an ounce for a mouthful of salty BBs....
absolute proof that money can't buy brains.

8. Hors D'oeuvres....
I can't remember exactly where I was but recall some caviar on hors d'oeuvres...no one around here would use fish eggs except to catch more fish.

10. Ahyup, in Texas that's just bait.
Never tried it, don't want to cause I've fished with eggs like that. I guess if you've got money to burn it would be a treat, but can't imagine putting $1,000+worth of ANYTHING in my mouth.

12. Anyone who pays $1,000 for a tin of caviar...
Should be "accidentally" shot. The Life Insurance would feed alot of hungry people.

16. oh brother.
Look, I hate caviar. And I would never pay that much for caviar. But if you're obscenely rich, why the hell shouldn't you?
