Driveway paving question

Okay, I know the cost of getting a driveway asphalted has soared due to oil prices... however, what does that mean? How much does it cost to get done? Say approximately 8'x25'?

2. We just paid $2500 to have ours extended. It is probably about

25 x 16 in some places with a basketball pad next to the garage for my son.

HyTech here in Midlothian did it. They did a good job, too.
