1. It makes me crawl up the wall.
Seriously. I can't take the stuff. I start feeling like spiderman on crack.

2. I have a paradoxical reaction to it, too
It gives me insomnia.

5. Yes, I took it last week because I had a toothache
and the doctor said it would make me sleepy, but it kept me awake. But it was a nice buzz. I actually got some work done. It helped me focus better than the Adderall I take.

7. That's what I'm sayin'
It helps me focus. And focus on being warm and floaty. And focus on paying bills and cleaning.

15. Another Vote for Paradoxical Reaction
It keeps me awake, but it does help with pain.

Versed, on the other hand, wakes me, keeps me up, and lets me enjoy every exquisitely painful moment of whatever procedure I'm supposedly out for - the opposite of what it's supposed to do.

18. Ouch! My experiences with Versed have all been pleasant
Versed puts me completely out, after floating me gently to the door of consciousness on a yummy cotton-candy cloud...

3. I'm with you.
It keeps me awake too, but in such a pleasant state that I don't mind at all...

13. I loved it until about my 4th day on it
when it made me have horrible dreams, which I won't even go into.

Glad my pain had reduced to the Motrin stage, don't know what I'd do if i needed a pain killer again.

16. It's pretty much all I've got
Went into anaphylatic shock over aspirin so I cannot take any NSAIDs ever. So no motrin, aleve, aspirin, celebrex.

So for my osteo-arthritis I can take a 1/2 of Vicodin when it's bothering me. It does help but if I take more than that I get sick. I get buzzed from that. Sometimes it's sort of pleasant, sometimes not.

I don't react well to drugs. Mostly they make me sick. I only hope I never have to take anything stronger than a 1/2 of Vicodin.
