1 - Which country is further East? Iran or Iraq? - Iraq

2 - If you left Caracas and flew dead North, what land mass would you hit first? - Canada

3 - Which is larger - Cuba or Jamaica? - Cuba

4 - Taiwan is North or South of Japan? - South

5 - Liberia is in West or East Africa? - West

Well I was right on 4 of them but I need clarification if I'm right on #2. If you consider all the caribean islands I suspect you'd hit one of them first but for actual landmass it would probably Canada or perhaps Greenland

Iraq is further East
You would hit Canada first (but you would be a few miles shy of Maine)
Cuba is larger
Taiwan is South and West of Japan
And Liberia is in West Africa

4. This is all from memory.
Iran is further east than Iraq.

No idea where I'd hit from Caracas.

I think that Cuba is larger than Jamaica.

Taiwan is to the South of Japan - hopefully....

Liberia is in West Africa.

If these are wrong, I wouldn't be surprised.

I must warn you, I am AGGRESSIVELY INDIFFERENT to geography, so no laughing if all completely wrong.

1) Iraq
2) I'll assume Caracus is some kind of nation, and I will further guess this is Ameri-centric, so I will say North America
3) Cuba
4) South
5) Libya is in the one direction and if you go in the other direction you get Egypt, but I dislike East-West, ie. I have no idea whether even countries I know the location of are East or West, so for Liberia, I will guess West.

How'd I do?

Edit: Most embrassing spelling mistake EVER!

20. We're democrats and we don't know where Caracas is located?
Geez, have none of you people heard of Hugo Chavez?

Ok, although it's not listed on the map, you can find Venezuela on there, it's north of Brazil and a yellow colored country. Caracas is on the coast of the Caribean probably due north between the EZ of Venezuela on the map.

Head north folks - maybe you'd hit an island but what is the first land mass you're gonna hit.

Nuff said

25. only one person didn't know what caracas was
Edited on Thu Jun-22-06 10:16 PM by pitohui
i knew caracas was in venezuela, and not a small country, i think only one poster stated he didn't know "what" caracas was, but alas the question was flying OUT of caracas what do i hit, i suppose now i come to think of it IN REAL LIFE the answer is miami not canada :-)

try to book a flight out from caracas and skip miami and see how easy it is?

you go in so many directions when you fly that it's not as easy to figure as you would think to picture how it might look on the map
