2. West Texas weather is a blast.
I was watching the towers on the storms that are hitting, forming. It was awesome to watch them go up through the moisture cap and get huge.

3. Yikes.
That's quite a drop. Be careful. We had a tornado go right by our house last week, and there wasn't even a warning. I was standing right by the window watching the storm without realizing a tornado was only a hundred feet or so away at that moment. If it had come any closer... :scared:

6. I have watched twisters dance in the sky over our house.

I have been in the core of a tornadic storm and been nearly hit by the tornado that formed. I used to storm spot. I love watching severe weather and looking at how it moves and forms.

20. Since I know now that no one was hurt
and there was no devastating damage (a few neighbors are missing parts of their roof, but no one lost a home), I wish I'd seen the thing. Of course, if I'd known there was a tornado near by, I wouldn't have been by the window so I probably would have missed it anyway. I've seen one tornado from a distance, but that's it. This is the closest I've ever come to one. And I didn't even know it was there! I'm a big weather geek, and would have loved to have seen it.

14. It is pretty wild.
It was so hot and humid outside and then when the wind hit, you could feel the temperature just plummet.

It looks like we may get a little of it, but we sure need the rain. Houston has had enough, send it northwest! :)

oooo, got up to 68 today and it is sunny, no it's not, yes it is, no it's not, yes, no , yes, no...now it is evening and it is down to 60. Ocassionally we get a decent storm but usually it is partly cloudly partly sunny rain showers sun breaks chance of percipitation some sun.

32. Nope, just slugs. I do not envy you the 100 days or nights.
Sometime we'll have a BIG earthquake (NW WA) and you can say "I'll still take the 100 days". Came to Texas last Aug (camp casey) and it was an experience. Drink water on the way to the portapotties to pee out that water, then drink water back to the cooler to get more water to drink on the way to the portapotties....

Black icky clouds, and just heard thunder. Hope we don't have anymore flooding.
Little dog and I already had our evening walk, thank goodness.
