12. Their response HERE!

Hello,

Thanks for your question. We don´t associate the symbol with the male symbol - we associate the iron mark with the symbol for iron.

Best regards

Anica M.

13. Well, what if their customers associate it with the male symbol?
I guess they're saying your opinion doesn't matter.

3. Because the male symbol is cool and projects power & steadfast reliability
Not like the weak, wishy-washy, and might I add, practically unmarketable female symbol.

14. It't the symbol for iron BECAUSE it's the symbol for Mars, actually
alchemy recognised seven elemental metals, each of which was represented by the astrological sign of its associated planet...iron was assocated with Mars, gold with the sun, silver with the moon, quicksilver with Mercury, lead with Saturn, tin with Jupiter, and copper with Venus.

10. It's not the symbol for 'male.'
I mean, it looks just like it, but:

VOLVO (Sweden) 1927 to date

Volvo means 'I'm Rolling' in Latin, and the arrowed Circle is merely the conventional map sign for steel - Sweden's most famous industry before iKEA came along.
