I'll start with: "Sausalito Summernight" by Diesel (but only the full-length version with the guitar solo).

13. Would you believe it was once a TV news theme?
at WBAL, channel 11 in Baltimore, early '70s. They'd play it at the end over the credits and some pix of ducks on a pond or whatever.

Thanks for the memory - do you still live in Maryland? I grew up in Catonsville, but moved to Severn after getting married. Tim

22. No, but I was back in B-town for a meeting earlier this month!
Many other delegates assumed that I knew where everything was -- although I was representing the state agency of Hawai'i and hadn't lived in Charm City (or County, where I grew up) since '75!

We need to get back to the sixties and the good, silly times that song represents. Now.

6. "I had too much to dream last night" by the Electric Prunes......
Kick ass r&r masterpiece. Zager and Evans "In the year 2525" Total dreck but soooooo much fun. Rich Havens "Here Comes the sun" and, ESPECIALLY, Brownsville Station and "Smokin' in the boy's room"

Even though they had a bigger hit with "Signs," I still think "Absolutely Right" is their best song.
