Ruh-roh... the Freepers are gonna hammer on Gore again

He said on Letterman that when he got to Congress in 1976, he convened the first hearings on global warming.

They'll twist that into "ALGORE SAYS HE STOPPED GLOBAL WARMING!!!11"

The story is that the RNC or Limbaugh started these vile stories about Gore (and I am sure they started some) and then the mainstream media spread them. In fact, it was the mainstream SCLM (so-called liberal media) which started many of the stories - inventing the internet, earth tones, Love Story, Love Canal. It was the political reporters and editorial writers of the WaPo, NYT, and Boston Globe which seemingly declared "war on Gore" and hammered him with anything they could find, and when they could not find anything, they just made sh*t up.

And then it is repeated ad nauseum....

I think Al's ready for a good ol' fight. :)
