If anybody remembers the former DUer named Champ >>>>

If anybody remembers the former DUer named Champ , well he does'nt post here anymore but since then he has enlisted in the military. He just sent me a message that he is going to be deployed to Iraq on July 1 for one year. As upset as I am about it I told him to stay strong and be safe. Please keep my friend in your thoughts and prayers .

6. Last summer ...

to make a long story short. He joined the army last summer (around the end of last summer) to drive trucks for the army. He did'nt have anything else - some of us tried to talk him out of it and tried to help find somewhere else to stay and a job - but he wanted a job. It was sort of his last resort.

I have a couple friends over there myself. Both of them are liberals that signed up for the money. I think the most fucked up thing was my one friend ended up getting shipped back for his second tour a couple days early...on Memorial Day. That's just fucked up.
