1. Why stay home? Go out to eat....
Edited on Sun Jun-25-06 04:42 PM by scoey1953
I love going out for Asian..CHINESE, Thai, Korean, Japanese...Vietnamese, you may not have these in your area..but some of it can be very good. Korean BBQ is incredible..and Kimchi is interesting.
Pad Thai is good also. As for Chinese...try Chow Fun. Fat noodles with either pork, beef, chicken or even shrimp. Vietnamese food can be spicy, but thats fun to do once in awhile.

If not pick another ethnic food: Mexican, Indian, German, Polish, or try something you never tried before. I also love Seafood. Its a real treat.

3. cook a chicken breast, shred it up and sautee it in olive oil with onion
and green pepper. Use margarine to butter one side of two tortillas. Place chicken mixture and a tad bit of cheese on one side and cover with other. Heat in frying pan 3 minutes a side. If you have salsa, serve with it. :)

11. Steak and Cabbage...
Small piece of sirloin or other inexpensive steak...cut in strips, lightly coat with flower, brown in margarine....add shredded cabbage, a little more margarine and lots of soy sauce....simmer until cabbage is tender but still a little crisp...not mushy!

Serve with rice and add more soy sauce to taste.

Really easy, really quick, pretty cheap, and it can't be THAT bad for you?

One avacado, one tomato, and about half a cucumber.

Cut all the veggies into bite size pieces, then add this...........

Vinaigrette made with garlic, dill, olive oil and a wee splash of balsamic vinegar.

Combine all of the ingredients and refrigerate for about one hour.

Enjoy!
