I need a favor

I hate hate hate the phrase "ramp up."

Hate it.

So please, just for me, try to use it as often as possible today. I think that it'll help me get over my disgust at this artificial boo-yah pseudomilitary testosteronism.

"I'd like to shove a big, fat ramp up (insert name of political figure)'s (insert name of orifice)."

"Ramp up" is as popular a phrase among the never-been-in-combat crowd as "on the ground."

Observe:

"The Pentagon has been ramping up efforts to get embedded journalists on the ground to document the Iraqis' gratitude for our unprovoked invasion."
