Try some of the antibacterial soaps. They're pretty good at getting rid of the body funk. The only deoderants i'm not allergic to are Arm & Hammer stick and Ban roll on.
And I embarrassed the shit out of my mom at that age with a similar thing. I think she had a yeast infection or something, and I mentioned it. In public. Oy vey.
3. My 10 y/o daughter started wearing deodorant, but would forget
sometimes. One day she got in the car after school and I caught a whiff & asked her if she forgot. She smelled her armpit and said, "Hm, smells like tacos!" Oh they say the darndest things.
I asked my mom right in the middle of the grocery store if she ever had that "not so fresh feeling"...you know the famous line from the Summer's Eve commercial. Now I had no idea what that meant other than daughters were asking their mother that same question in the commercial. Well she started laughing and so did some other women in the isle who hear me say it. Well I was quite embarrassed that people were laughing at me for some unknown reason. She explained to me that it was a product for women that probably wasn't appropriate to mention in public. lol...kids do in fact say the darndest things
