Impossibly Cute Photo Thread! KITTEN VS. THE BUNNIES!!!!
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 08:22 PM by haruka3_2000
My aunt brought her new rescue kitten, Simone, over to the house tonight. When she took my grandmother out to dinner, I decided to let Simone have some fun instead of sitting in the carrier. Simone got to play with the bunnies, Darwin & Elfie. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of the good shots of Simone getting chased by the bunnies (took fast). I did get some very cute shots though. Ignore the mess on the floor. I'm cleaning my room right now.

Simon spots the bunnies..."What the hell are those things?"

Elfie looks on as Darwin's ass is under attack.

Darwin's ass is investigated.

Darwin's ass must be tasty. Darwin's eyes seem to be saying, "what the fuck, man?"

Simone decides to mess with Elfie now.

Elfie thwarts the whole thing by going over to mess with Simone instead.

4. Thank you.
Unfortunately, I had some family crap come up yesterday (plus my fish tank blew a gasket) so I didn't make it into Pride yesterday.

Darwin's a horny little rabbit (even after the ball-snipping) so he probably enjoyed the butt-biting.

7. Only one of my cats is a rabbit-eater.
The other three just ignore the rabbit. Simone isn't mine though, just a visitor for the night.

Simone is a tiny little girl though. She's only 7 weeks old. My aunt found her running around by an abandoned house. She managed to grab Simone and her vet went back and trapped the rest of the litter and the mom. The kittens all have homes and the mom was deemed unadoptable, so she was fixed, vaccinated and released. I mean, even Darwin looks big compared to her and Darwin (Dwarf bunny) weighed 2.75lbs when he was at the vet. Elphie is a fattie...she weighs in at about 6lbs.

10. Mine weigh 16, 14, 12 and 10 pounds each, and the 12 pounder
kills squirrels.

A bunny would be loads of fun.

11. The weights on mine are...
8lbs (only hunts large game like other cats and German Shepherds, oddly enough ignores the bunnies)
9lbs
12lbs (kills squirrels & bunnies outside)
17lbs (couldn't hunt his way out of a paper bag, but he swims).

The rabbits have a hutch in the garage and a covered "playpen" outside. I let them run around my room supervised though. It's been raining so much, they've been stuck inside. They needed exercise.

9. Well, he might say it to Elfie. Those two they f*ck like well...
bunnies. That's why we got Darwin neutered. Hasn't slowed him down though.

13. Cute photo.
With Midnight, I can say, "give me a kiss" and she'll do that. Midnight is the best cat ever.

In case, you couldn't tell in that photo, she only loves me though. I've never seen such distain for everything in a cat before. I love it. She earned her little spiked collar.

20. Speaking of an attack gecko...
Here is a clip of a real one. I've read an article about this and they said it was a gecko.

22. Yeah, that would be a tokay gecko.
Vicious, but beautiful creatures. I plan on buying one soon. A tokay nearly took off my friend's earlobe once. My geckos are leopard geckos, which are just about the most sedate lizards you could ever find. I just bought the magnet because it was cute. When I clean their tank, I just put them all on my shoulder and they'll just chill. The male's so calm, I even took him to work once because a coworker wanted to see him. He spent the day sleeping against my neck.

Anyway, here's a close-up of a tokay gecko, a true attack gecko.

Here's my leopard geckos checking out DU (the Official Lounge Lizards).

17. The kitten is way too small to draw blood.
The rabbits were more likely to draw blood.

16. Awwwww
I took my late doggie Sally to my sister's house to
meet Louie the Ferret. Sally kept looking at him like,
"What the hell are you???" My dad always called
Louie a stretch rat. It was pretty funny when Louie
would chase sweet Sally.

It was so funny to see the male rabbit humping the female cat.
