What can you tell me about student loans and co-signers?
We're being asked to co-sign on a loan for someone and it has been far too long since I've had to make my way through the maze of loans.
I know the person gets Stafford Sub and Unsub loans and that they are trying to get additional financial support. I assume that would be through a federal student loan company, but it seems that there are now private student loan companies that offer loans based on credit.
What can you tell me about your recent experiences with student loans?
