I need positive vibes

My Sweetie (cat) is sick.
We went on vacation to Mexico for a week. While we were gone my sister took care of our dogs and Sweetie. She's almost 14 and has alway's been very healthy. She won't eat or drink and isn't grooming herself now. I just want to cry. I'm just not ready to say goodbye to her.
We have a vet appointment in about an hour. Please send good vibes my way.

Geez, though, why are everyone's animals in peril this week? My older dog may have congestive failure--the vet can't see him until tomorrow, so we're not sure, and one of our cats needs to have a rather exotic (and expensive) treatment to correct a thyroid problem.

I was really surprised to get Sweetie in so fast. I just called this a.m. and thought I might have to pay for an emergency appointment.
