The Movie, "The Siege", Starring Denzel Washington, Annette Benning, and Bruce Willis

I'm watching it again now on HBO. This movie was made 3 years before 9/11. and man, is it eerie how this work of fiction mirrors current event. From the bombings in NY, to making deals with informants who turn, to putting the military on the streets of NY, to martial law, to internment, to naked torture.

There's a telling scene where Denzel tries to talk Willis out of torturing a suspect. There's a scene of Arianna Huffingtion as talking head calling for military intervention.

Do yourself a favor and watch it again.
