1. I can't vote...
I don't even go see movies like that. I have been around the block enough to know they are bad without having to go see them.

Having said that, the worst movie I saw this year had to be the Pink Panther. Ugh. Why I thought that would be good, I don't know...

3. my son wanted to see the new Pink Panther -
he thought it was hilarious. Steve Martin was sadly miscast, IMO. So we went back to the originals, they were much funnier, if dated. Sellers is much, much funnier. Hell, Kevin Kline would have made a better Clouseau than Martin.

2. Superman Returns?
I saw some of it at the store. Glad I didn't see it in the theatre.

No doubt it's got its share of good scenes, but a 19-year old girl who claims her name is Lois Lane getting all sappy googley-eyed over a man wearing a blue rubber suit for 2 hours? Forget it. Margot Kidder knew the line between romance and shallowness and as such her Lois is more memorable; less cartooney.

Bryan Singer should have stayed with X-Men.

5. I agree, Kate Bosworth was
badly mis-cast, and it dragged the movie down...but Supes is still the man...:D I hope my bias isn't showing through.... :hi:

I think Singer got caught up in trying to pay to much respect to Donners movie, Superman The Movie...as a superman fan, I thought it was a great homage, to Donner...but the average movie goer would probably be irritated by it...:D

4. I think anything involving Larry the Cable Guy...
should be an automatic winner for "Worst Movie" of any year.

6. I haven't seen any of those films.
Except for Hostel, which was bad, but not that bad.

What are some other candidates that couldn't fit on the list?

9. Add those to a long list of other bad films I didn't bother seeing. Although
the trailer to "Grudge 2" was the scariest thing I've seen in a while. I saw it before Talladega Nights, and it literally had people in the audience whimpering. One grown man actually called out "Is it over?" when the trailer ended. You could tell his hands were over his face by the way he said it.

14. An American Haunting.
That movie was such a mess with no continuity or thought out plot, that it nearly made me tear my hair out. There were so many "alternate endings" on the DVD, that I'm pretty sure that there was half a script at the time of shooting. Oh, and the film had little or nothing to do with the Bell Witch. :eyes: I didn't see any of the other offerings in the poll, so i thought I'd offer this dreck as an option.
