What is the percentage of military who are gay? Higher or lower than general population?

I was just thinking of this, watching that Michael Moore "Sodomobile" video on Youtube, and wondering if the precentage of military people who are gay is higher or lower than in the general population.

And I ask that knowing full well we don't even know the real rate of homosexuality in the general population (but let's assume the idea of 10% is close enough to accurate), let alone what it might be in the "don't ask, don't tell" US military.
