Wish me luck - I'm taking the new van for a run this weekend!

I've had the van just over a month and it's my first car. Within 2 weeks someone had rolled into the back of it. Luckily their insurance paid up, and it is now fixed up. It's 20 years old, but just passed a mechanic's inspection and has had a good service.

So......I've ripped out the back seats, bought a mattress and some camping gear, and me and my girlfriend are driving 2 hours down the coast this evening to do some whale watching!

P.S.
Although this isn't a picture of my van or me, it is exactly the same (more or less) as my van!

I remember your post when you got it, and that van looks pimp. I'm guessing yours has no light bar and (possibly) smaller tires, but that is some good stuff.

Good luck in your trip, hope you see some whales (800 gallons of sperm? eeeeee!)and you have a great time.
