5. Not so much
Erie or Buffalo are the land of winter. We're just land of the outskirts of winter. ;)

10. We do...we don our sweaters when it's 28.
Now...time for me to go and select today's wardrobe; I'm thinking shorts and a halter-top...

13. Yup.
For today, anyway. We just finished with the weather that you're getting now. Our high for a couple of days was barely 20.

This is s'posed to last...well...for today, anyway. It's supposed to snow tonight.

:eyes:

14. My kids would love some more snow - snow that sticks.
There are a couple of tablespoons of snow cover on the yard at school, and my son described it as "lots of snow."

He knows nothing about what "lots of snow" really is!

:)

I used to live in Minnesota, the REAL land of winter.

17. Banana belt?
I didn't know banana potatoes were grown there.

I have relatives who live in Minnesota, definitely in the land of winter, with about a month of summer. :)

18. Ha ha.
:D

I mean we're in a valley that doesn't get as cold as the most of the rest of the state, nor do we get the snow like they do in the mountains. There's comparatively very little snow in the Boise area each winter. We've lived here since October 2000, and my kids have built snowmen only three times. They have never been sledding.
