Gordon Lightfoot is better than Oasis
But that's not saying much :)

Honestly, this guy is a passed-over gem. Listening to Sundown right now.

Damn if those Canucks don't belt out some damn fine musicians. For a country the size of California (in population) they put out more classics per capita than anyone, save the UK.

2. Oh definitely! Having seen him in concert quite a few times,
it's always a treat!

I love the Don Quixote album, I think I know every note :-).

3. How is he like live?
I've had mixed experiences seeing past superstars today...Blue Oyster Cult was purely amazing, Al Stewart was a joke...

4. I haven't seen him live since 2000 but
I saw him outdoors several times in the 90's and he was amazing. It was in the summer back in Pgh. and humid. He had to keep tuning up his guitars and he had about four or five of them next to him - couple of twelve strings of course.

The last time I saw him was in a small concert hall in Pittsburgh (the Carnegie Music Hall). He was awesome. He still has that rich voice and his guitar work is masterful.

I missed his concert out here. He played at a casino last year. I'm hoping that since we are moving back to the Pgh. area in a couple of weeks, that I will catch him in concert somewhere in 2007.

5. We saw him in concert in August...
He was wonderful. It was an outdoor concert and it started to rain heavily. Without missing a beat, he started singing 'Rainy day people' His voice is still great.
