Secular Humanists chime in!
Keep in mind, you don't have to be agnostic or athiest to be one - there were many famous Christian (and even Islamic) Secular Humanists....

Humanist - eh, not so much. There are far too many flawed examples of the breed walking around for me to consider them a basis for moral philosophy. Except, perhaps, as a counterexample. So I'm a secular antihumanist, I guess.

Humanist.

I even have the opposing online beliefs test, taken 3 years apart, to prove it :)

It was quite a wild ride.

ps... there may be christian or muslim humanist, but there are no JW humanist. I suppose I was as close as a JW could come to being a humanist, but I wasn't even close.

However, from what I've read of it, I suppose it could be an accurate description.

So... :hi:

19. Chiming in.
I don't feel we need a book written by humans to give us morals, and

I feel there are enough examples of good and noble human behavior that we have absolute potential for morality.

I like the phrase "secular humanist" - it has a positive ring to it while transcending religious differences.
