Worst sick day of my life today.
Nothing, but nothing is worse than being throwing up sick on a 4 1/2 hour cross country flight. Jeez, hugging a airplane toilet in that dirty little room while trying to be quiet so the flight attendants don't notice...ugh!

Just got home and laying in my own bed <sigh>, I really appreciate my own bathroom!

I hope no one else ever had to go through that.

3. Thatnks!
I does feel nice to be home. I felt for my seat mate as I had the window seat and that woman had to be wondering why I was asking to get up every 30 minutes. Hopefully, I held it together enough not to let anyone know.

Feeling better now.

2. Unfortunately, Yes I have .....
Went to Paris a few years ago and started to become ill the night before I left for France. Was sick the entire week that I was there - saw a Dr. - was put on antibiotics and suffered consequences from them on the flight all the way home (if you know what I mean). You're right - there's nothing like being 'one' with your own bathroom.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

5. That's a really sad story.
Messed up vacation and your flight home was at least twice as long as mine. Hope you got to go back under better circumstances.

7. Dude, one time I was away at a conference and I got VERY sick.
Strepthroat. I had a fever of about 103. My throat was completely closed. I could barely eat. And me and my work mate had to drive home, in a car without air conditioning, for 10 hours. I drove 5 of those hours with a fever and feeling like I was going to die.

When I got home, I went to the doc and she told me if I had waited any longer to go to the doc, they would have had to throw me in a hospital.

But would could I do...I was in the States, and I had no insurance. I had to come home (Canada) to get my free, socialized medicine.

9. You're lucky you didn't wreak.
Driving while sick had to suck. Good thing you weren't in Orlando or someplace further away. At least I could could just sit there and close my eyes.

8. You poor thing.
You're right, I can't think of many worse things. A BIL of mine became ill the same way on a flight from Venice to New York, except he passed out and only woke when airline personnel tried to open the door to see if he was alive. A bad story, like yours.

Feel better. :)

10. that's bad.
It's also why I was trying to be as quiet as possible. I REALLY didn't want anyone to know. Getting everyone's attention while being sick is a worst case scenario for me.
