if I would get off my procratinating butt, I would have some lights up...but it seems it always takes me until the 15th to get in gear. I think most people start after Thanksgiving, don't they?

because it is so cold here tonight. It's not supposed to be cold here. And I lost all my Christmas stuff in Hurricane Wilma's storm surge last year, most can be replaced...of course, but not the ornaments from childhood that my mom made for me and that our family had given me over the years. I feel at a loss, don't know where to start.:shrug:

My 93-year-old mother (whom I lived with and took care of) had a heart attack last year on 12/22 and died on 12/28. I am not up to a tree this year, but did some decorating last weekend and put some ornaments on my large Norfolk Island Pine. If I can do it, so can you.
