2. Hey, if it fits her interests, go for it.

I'm not a big fan of traditional "romantic" gifts, myself. I know some people would be offended if their partner got them, say, a sautee pan and not jewelry or flowers or whatever...but I love to cook, and would be thrilled with a sautee pan and, depending on the jewelry, I'd wear it once a year or not at all.

But then, my favorite gift from my SO was when he gave me a cordless drill, a toolbox filled with hammers, wrenches, drill bits and pliers (and 3 stuffed ponies). I love to build things! :bounce:

I'm still waiting for the chain saw, however. :grr:
