Okay! It's 10 years in the future. G.W. Bush has become a destitute alcoholic and drug addict.
You see him begging for money on a street corner.

No one else seems to realize that the unkempt filthy man wrapped in a tattered blanket approaching them is the former President. He is either ignored or avoided by all he reaches out to.

What do YOU do?

3. I'd toss him a bottle of something
to make sure he stays drunk. He's less likely to cause further harm that way.

10. I like your answer
It's better than he deserves, but it's the correct thing to do. If nothing else, I'd appreciate the irony (presuming that I recognized him after the fact).

29. Give him your coat. Buy him some oranges, but no money.
He has a bad track record with money. Might as well just give him cheap hooch as money.

9. I'd tell him: "Get a job! And quit mooching off the taxpayers!"
Current evidence suggests that the man has no understanding of irony. I wonder if such an event would change that.

universe. Seriously, this man will never be poor, and if by some magical means, justice were served and the Bush family were reduced to poverty and powerlessness, one of their buddies would pick them up, dust them off, and drop a few mill in their pockets.

13. Give him charity, and let him know it's being given by a homo-accepting
liberal devout Christian who believes everything he did was anathema to God, but because I'm a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT, I think he still merits grace and love.

Though I might also be tempted to give him a bottle of Wild Turkey in the hopes that it will get him one more bottle closer to death.

Sorry -- I know that borders on criminal negligence, should there be a repeat of that earlier incident (especially since I know how susceptible he is to vasovagal syncope) -- but I couldn't resist.

19. I'll betcha you wouldn't
I actually don't think any liberal would hurt someone else on purpose, not even *

And Redstone, you seem to have a very tender side you try to keep hidden. I could be mistaken. But I don't think I am.

BTW, is your son OK now about Sneets?

27. Me? "A tender side?" Let's just keep that our little secret, OK? I have a reputation
to protect, after all.

Thanks for asking about the Little Guy. He's doing OK, still mentions the cat now and again, but the puppy is a good distraction.

AND, my older son found a kitten (yes, at a shelter, not a store) who looks just like Sneets. He'll be picking her up tomorrow.

Thanks again for asking.

Redstone

Ok so lets say he has a legitimate reason for being out from Gitmo and runnin around loose without his minders...I'd get a picture and send it off to the free republic...... "You made it, you broke it...here, you fix it!"

(It would be good for their soul....well that would be my hope even though I suspect those chicken hawks would likely ignore the facts....they have a long tradition of ignoring those rascally facts).

Former presidents do not need to beg on the streets, regardless of their obvious intellectual failings. Besides, he's rich.

30. Historically, some have had a pretty rough time in 'retirement'
That's why they get pensions now, to prevent the national embarrassment of former presidents living in near poverty.
