I am looking for super-sensitive skin shampoo

My 3 year old son has eczema and super-sensitive skin. We're in the market for a good shampoo for this...anyone have any suggestions?

nothing commercial ever worked for me. Had to get script from dermatologist. you may want to visit one, otherwise it will just be the endless trial and error all the while going through break out after break out. Even an allergy test, then you can rule out certain ingredients. I for one am allergic to lanolin. Makes it very difficult to use most commercial lotions. Good luck.

Why do manufacturers insist on making shampoo so damn smelly? I have one we're going to try, from Vermont Soapworks, which is a pretty simple traditional soap. Unfortunately, I had to get the orange-scented version...

One fine day I was in the store purchasing shaving cream, when a woman stood across the aisle from me picking out a shampoo. She opened every bottle on the shelf and smelled the contents.

The irony of that little situation was that I was going to take the shaving cream home and use it to shave my head.

because I don't want something overpoweringly smelly, not because I'm looking for a certain scent. The older I get, the less tolerant I have become to scented things. I deplore Bath and Body Works! UGH!

You should be able to get a gentle, unscented shampoo there. I know California Baby and Magick Botanicals both make one. Druide makes very gentle and moisturizing shampoos, soaps and lotions for babies and kids, but I don't know if they make an unscented one.

Some people have decent luck with using Dr Bronners magic soap as a shampoo. I get buildup when I try it, apparently it only works out well if you have soft water.

at least this is what I have narrowed it down to. I used to have a horribly dry and irritated scalp with most shampoos, but through trial and error I cut out this ingredient and it worked.

I use Jason Henna shampoo and conditioner, and I only wash my hair 2x a week. The combination of the 2 seems to be the perfect balance for me.

I just read that you said skin shampoo. Sorry about that. :) If you need a hair shampoo, though, that is a nice one.
For my skin, I only use soap on my, errr... "bits." A glycerin soap. In the winter, the rest is just cleansing water. It's the only way I can keep from cracking.

All organic ingredients, very mild. Comes in liquid and bar form. These are the ingredients:
